St. James Lions Club, in cooperation with city hall, put on it's 4th annual "Festival of Lights"  at the plaza this year.  The plaza looks absolutely beautiful with all of the light displays.  The local boy scouts put up a cheerful train display next to the city railroad depot.

              Happy 70th Anniversary!

We did it!  Our 70th Anniversary Celebration was enjoyed by all in attendance.  We had a wonderful buffet with beef, chicken, salad, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, gravy and a delicious chocolate and vanilla cake.  Lions Jeani, Bev and De made beautiful centerpieces for each table.  The many items for door prizes and the silent auction were donated through the generousity of local merchants.

Thank you to all who made this celebration a success!!!!

The St. James Lions Club's St. James Tigers

football program booklets.

For a number of years, the St. James Lions Club have sold ads to the local business community for a program booklet which they publish for their local high school football team, the St. James Tigers.  The program booklet is then distributed at each home game.  It includes the season schedule as well as the roster of the home and visiting teams.

The proceeds are used to fund projects in the community.  Not only is this a great fundraiser, it also provides community awareness for the local club.
