Old Business
Brat Fry income was $4347 with expenses of $1325 for a profit of $2995. Tips
amounted to $547, and 76 Spring Raffle tickets were sold.
Flags have been displayed thanks to the help of Simon Prairie Rock Farms help with
the lift. Also the East WH sign has had a flower bed added thanks to the Wehner
Family.
Zone Meeting was attended by Larry Dikeman and Tom Feyen, reporting that the
Wisconsin Lion paper will discontinue printing and mailing. Members with e-mail
addresses will receive the information and if printed copies are needed it will be the
clubs responsibility to fulfill requests of members. Deer Hides were sold and all hides
were graded as large size amounting to a price of $109,000.Mary Jo Abler will take over
Zone Chair duties in the future.
Caps are available from Kathie Dikeman (921-7613) and other apparel can be ordered.
New Business
Walleye Weekend Ice Delivery will be covered by volunteers June 9-11th.
Officer Installation Dinner will be hosted by Winnebago East Shore Lions on June 22nd
at the Cabaret in St. Cloud with dinner being served at 7pm.
Breakfast on the Farm food will be grilled by members on June 25th.
Dock Spiders Game on July 16 will be our chance as a club to sell and profit from the
50/50 raffle. Doug Simon (251-6752) has 50 tickets for members (friends and family) at
$14 ea to support the event.
Fond du Lac Fair volunteers are needed to work in a stand on July 22nd, Mark
Diederichs (375-0197) will lead the group. Dan Weber will also organize a vision
awareness and screening area throughout the entire fair, any volunteers are
appreciated, call Dan (251-5150).
Race the Lake will be held on August 20th as usual, Larry Dikeman (921-7613) will get
the information and plan for members to help out for the event.
Olivia Schussman from the Johnsburg area has undergone brain tumor surgery, motion
made by Kathie Dikeman, second by Ron Thome to donate $400 in gift cards for the
young family, motion carried.

Jake Schneider from the St. Peter Athletic Club outlined the Capital Campaign the group is
working on to upgrade parking areas, field lighting, and walk-in coolers which could amount to
$100,000 in the next 5 to 10 years.
Old Business
Brat Fry went well thanks to the organization of Ken Schneider and Dick Marion.
Thank you’s were received from Foot of the Lake Fishing Club for our donation and also Holy
Land Food Pantry expressed their gratitude for the food donation accumulated at a previous
Zone meeting.
Food Pantry landscaping and lot surfacing has been completed. Community needs remain the
same as usual.
Zone Meeting discussion involved discontinuation of the Wisconsin Lion newspaper, and deer
Hide collection.
New Business
Walleye Weekend sign-up sheet was passed, not all spots are filled.

Breakfast on the Farm at the Loehr Farm, W2133 Rand Ellen Lane, Eden will be held June
25th, volunteers will start preparations at 5:30.
Spring Raffle tickets need to be returned if unsold, we will attempt to sell them at the Farm
Breakfast. Drawing will be held after the June 28th Directors meeting.
Regular Meetings will not be held through the summer, the next regular meeting will be August
23rd.
Dock Spiders tickets are available from Doug Simon @ $14 each, we need to sell 50 tickets to
reach the discount level for a group. The game is a cap giveaway promotion and volunteers
from our club will sell 50/50 raffle tickets as a fundraiser.
Fond du Lac Fair Vision Screening and Information booth volunteers are needed, Dan Weber is
leading the event. Mark Diederichs is also in charge of a group to work in a Drink Stand.
Race the Lake organization will be covered again by Larry Dikeman for the event on August
20th.
Lions Caps are available from Kathie Dikeman, (921-7613) and shirts can be ordered if needed.
Little Farmer Food Stand will be staffed by our group on the October 7-8th weekend.
Olivia Schussman has undergone brain tumor surgery, a $400 gift card will be presented to the
young family.
Cameron Duehring who is the grandson of Jim & Kathy Bertram will be attending Lions camp
this summer.
