WHO ARE THE SPOKANE SHADLE NORTH LIONS?

We have proudly served the North Spokane community for more than 60 years!

Our members are very different in many ways, but we share a core belief - our community is what we make it.  That's because we help where help is needed.  In short, We Serve!

Here are some of the things our club has done recently:

  • Bagged 2500 Grocery bags at Rosauer's - a local supermarket -  in support of the 2nd Harvest food bank and Tom's Turkey Drive to help those in need stock up their kitchen cabinets with nutritious food and enable them to have a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner
  • Donated a Tree and gifts to the Spokane Junior League annual Christmas Party, which were then given to needy family for the holiday
  • We held our 4th Annual Crab Fest - where raised almost $20K,for the club that will enable us to fund those in need with eyeglasses and hearing devices in our service area
  • In conjuction with  the Crab Fest we raffled off a play house in which we raised $1500 for Soles for Souls, a  non profit that supplies new shoes for those in need.
  • Also in conjuction with the Crab Fest, we raise $2600 For Camp Stix -  which is a local summer camp designed for kids with Diabetes.
  • We are also about fun!   At our annul Christmas party, we tried our hand at painting, and also donated clothing items to Cup of Cool Water, a non profit that helps homeless teens in the Spokane Area.  Check out our pictures of the event!
