Trevor Andrew McIntosh


Trevor Andrew McIntosh, Guyanese, born and grew up in the County of Berbice. Received his formal education in the Ancient Town of New Amsterdam. Happily married for twenty seven (27) years to a devoted wife Allison Giddings McIntosh. He is the proud father of three children two girls and one boy; grand father of four all girls.
He began his career as a Police man, where he served for twenty years. He then sought a change in his career in 2003 after graduating from the University of Guyana Tain Campus Portmourant Courentyne Guyana as a Social Worker. He worked at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) as a  Psychiatric Social Worker  then at the Genitor Urinary Medicine Clinic (GUM ) as a sexually Transmitted Infection  (STI) Counsellor. In 2006 he   joined the National AIDS Programme Secretariat   (NAPS)   as the Regional Voluntary Counselling and Testing supervisor. In 2011 he then joined The Davis Memorial Hospital Positively to Support Humanity (PUSH) project as the Program Specialist.
In February2012, he was installed as a member of the South Georgetown Lions club where he served as Treasurer for two years, two years director and in 2015 he was voted in as the President for Fiscal year 2015-2016.

His core areas are as follows:
 Sight conservation, focusing on the visually impaired.

 Health and Social Services

 Information Technology and Public Relations
 Membership recruitment, retention and growth.
 New funding, Partnership and Networking.
