Calling Shuswap photographers and painting artists!  We are once again producing our famous Lions Calendar for 2019.  Shuswap photographers and painters can show their perspective on living in the Shuswap and have their name and Shuswap related picture immortalized (for at least a year) in our calendar. Contest is open to Shuswap residents 19 years and over. We want you to send in your digital photos of living in our spectacular are so that w can select pictures for the coveted front page​ and the next twelve months for our calendar. Local business support the calendars which are sold in our community. All profits from the calendars to to supporting the many needs in our community.  Bonus:​ The winner of the coveted front page picture will win $50.00 as a little extra Thank You for their entry. ​Important: please see contest rules below. Sorrento Lions Club 2018 Calendar Photo Contest Rules

1) All entries must be digital photos not larger than 5 MB in a commonly used format, suitable for printing in an 8 X 11 or 20.s X 27.9 cm picture and sent to  To be considered as a valid entry ensure you name, contact e-mail and phone number are included with each entry. You may enter as often as you wish and there is no purchase required or fee for entry.

2) Entry is available to all Canadian residents over 19 years of age that are a full or part time residents of the Shuswap, BC area. Entrants must hold the copyright or have written permission from the owner of the copyright to the image. You must have written permission to use their image from each and any person or the guardian of each and any minor identifiable in your submitted entry. Successful entries may be required to attest to copyright and permission to use a person(s) image.

3) Entries will be judged by a committee selected by the Sorrento Lions and their decision will be final. Sorrento Lions reserve the right to deem ineligible and exclude in its sole and absolute discretion any entry including those deemed objectionable, disturbing to the community, portraying any unlawful activity or that may be considered a violation of human rights as determined by Canadian and Provincial laws.
