June 26, 1922.  26 civic minded Sikeston residents became charter members of the newly organized Sikeston Lions Club.  In the nine decades since, dozens of dedicated men and later also women have joined the organization to contribute their skills and time to making Sikeston and the surrounding area a better place to live .

All 50+ current members extend an invitation to anyone in the local community who feels they might be interested in joining and working with us to make the community a better place to live and work.  You are always welcome to attend one of our weekly meetings.  They are held at noon each Wednesday at the China Buffet restaurant adjacent to Wal-Mart.   If interested in joining us for lunch contact any of the Sikeston Lions Club members.
