The city of Shelton lies at the southwest end of Puget Sound in the State of Washington.  The history of Shelton lies in the connection to the logging and lumber industries of the area. It is also well known for the excellent shellfish that comes from the waters in and around Shelton and Mason County.

The Shelton Lions Club has proudly served the community of Shelton with pride since 1955. We are a charter member of Lions Club International, the largest service organization in the world. Giving back to our community through local community service is our top priority. We do this by conducting local service and fundraising projects to support our core programs: sight prevention, eye exam and eyeglass assistance, and honoring successful youth through a Student of the Month and Scholarship program.  Every dollar in fundraising proceeds goes directly back into the community.  We also support several international projects through the Lions Club International Foundation, namely disaster relief, particularly in our Western United States.

The Shelton Lions Club is currently on Hiatus as we try to re-charge our club with new membership.

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
