On behalf of the Sevier County Lions Club, we wish to say "Thank You" to our friends, family members, and fellow Lions who helped us to make our Charter Night Event a huge success. Eight Lions received their Centennial/Charter Member pins, 14 total Sevier County Lions were in attendance, and 1 new Lion member was recruited during this event. Our guest speaker for the evening was PDG Ed Gibbons, with induction and officer installation conducted by IPDG Paulette Bailey with assistance from Guiding Lions Tim Hilliker and Richard Walker. Our charter was presented by present DG Adam Bowling, Jr., while a special letter from Governor of TN Bill Haslam was presented by 2nd VG Carol McDonald. Several local Lions club members were in attendance, and numerous gifts were presented. We also wish to thank our sponsoring club, Dandridge Lions, for their assistance in getting our organization off to a great start. We are excited about our new club and we look forward to continuing the work of serving the citizens of Sevier County!!
