UPCOMING EVENTS

Upcoming events are listed below with more details available on the 'Calendar' page:

SENIOR CITIZEN'S CONCERT - Saturday 24th March

Sevenoaks Commnity Centre, Sevenoaks, TN14 5DN

Each year we present a concert for senior citizens of Sevenoaks which is performed by professional players who have acted on the London stage and on television.

They provide two hours of spectacular entertainment consisting of a wide ranging mix of acts designed to remind the members of the audience of the music halls of their youth.

This is one of the most popular events that we organise.

GOLF DAY - Friday 4th May 2018

Nizels Golf Club, Hildenborough, TN11 8NU

We have been organising a Golf day in late Spring for the  past few years, at Darenth Valley and more recently at  Nizels.

We aim for approximately 50 players for a bacon butty, 18 holes and an early dinner with prize giving.

It is  always a day enjoyed by all, and is being repeated in 2018,  should you be interested (good weather guaranteed!).

Helped by a donation from our sponsor, St James Place Wealth Management, this annual competition provides a fun means of enhancing our revenue.

VINEFEST - Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July 2018

Vine Gardens, Sevenoaks, TN13 3UH (behind the Vine Cricket Club)

Each year, in July, in association with the Vine Cricket Club, we organise a Beer Festival.

This year we will be holding the event again, at the Vine Gardens behind the Cricket Club. The Festival attracts real ale fans from far and wide, and we shall be offering 80 different beers andciders, with plenty of live music. Free entry for all.

HEAVY HORSE SHOW - Sunday 2nd September 2018

Shoreham, Sevenoaks, TN14 7SA (opposite Darenth Valley Golf Course)

The Heavy Horse Show is our main fund raising event of the year. It often generates over £20,000 which is used to support our work in the community.

The event is fun for all the family. It combines demonstrations by heavy horses, the engines of England before steam power, with activities for children, a craft fair, a whole range of stalls with local products and a range of fast food booths.

There are also displays of veteran cars, motorcycles, tractors and static engines. It attracts around 5,000 visitors each year.
