The following Selma Lions have completed their service.  May they rest in peace knowing they made a difference in their community of Selma, Indiana.

From The Meeks Mortuary, Wed., Dec. 14, 2011 - Scott A. Headley – 41, - 1/17/1970 - 12/13/2011  Selma--Scott A. Headley, 41, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born January 17, 1970 in Kokomo, the son of Jim and Nancy (Dale) Headley. Scott attended Burris High School and graduated from Northside High School in 1988. He worked for Sysco Food Services for several years and was currently employed as a Feeder Driver for UPS in Indianapolis. Scott and his family have lived in Selma for the last several years and he was a member of Selma United Methodist Church. Mr. Headley served as Cub Scout Leader for his son’s den (Pack 9), was a member of the Selma Lion’s Club, and was recently elected onto the Selma Town Board Council. Scott enjoyed drag racing and spending time with his friends at the drag strip, bowling and being with his family and children, especially at their sports activities. He enjoyed being around people, making everyone laugh and was full of life and energy. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.   Survivors include his wife, Michele Headley; one daughter, Jordyn Headley; one son, Logan Headley; step-daughter, Kinley Williams; one grandson on the way; his father and step-mother, Jim and Margaret Headley; step-brother, Dean Whitesel (wife, Lari); mother-in-law, Caroline Stewart; brother-in-law, Justin Stewart (wife, Amy); aunts and uncles, Sue and Jerry Thomas, Patty Dale, Jerry Dale and others; and several nieces, nephews and many special friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy (Dale) Headley; his grandparents; and his father-in-law, Michael Stewart.  Family and friends may call from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.  Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 with Rev Mark Ellcessor and Todd Austin officiating. Cremation will follow.   Memorial contributions may be sent to the Scott A. Lion David L. Dudley, 69

MUNCIE - David L. Dudley, 69, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.He was born October 1, 1942, in Muncie, the son of Joe and Elnora (Black) Dudley.He attended school in Selma and graduated from Selma High School in 1960.Mr. Dudley was employed at Delco Battery prior to his retirement and then worked at the Elks Country Club for several years. He attended True Light Baptist Church. He was a member of the Selma Lions Club, and United Auto Workers Local #489.David enjoyed outdoor activities, coin collecting, woodworking and his Corvette.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Ann (Logan) Dudley, to whom he was married forty-eight years; three sons, John D. Dudley, (wife, Thuy), Omaha, Nebraska, Dean A. Dudley, (wife, Michelle), Muncie, and Gregory J. Dudley, (wife, Sara), Spring Lake, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Travis Dudley, Kaitlyn Dudley, Tyler Dudley, Ryan Dudley and Elizabeth Dudley; two sisters, Diane Carmichael, (husband, Gary), Edgewater, Forida, and Susie Reeder, Springdale Arkansas; two brothers, Brian Dudley, (wife, Chris), Selma, and Brad Dudley, (wife, Julie) Chandler, Arizona; his uncle, Bob Dudley, (wife, Greta), Muncie; two aunts, Martha Black and Lavelle Black, both of Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2011 at True Light Baptist Church, 805 N. Country Club Road, Muncie. Pastor Dennis Trimble and Pastor Dennis Rush will officiate. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Parson Mortuary and an hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.Memorials may be sent to the Bettie and Elnora Dudley Scholarship Fund, c/o, Wapahani High School, 10401 E.
