"Permanent Projects" of Lions Club, Saharanpur
1. Lions Health Centre
- Homeopathic Clinic provides free consultancy and medicines to around 40 - 50 persons per day.
- Dental Clinic provides free consultation, examination and required procedures to around 25 persons per day.
2. Drinking Water Facilities
The Cold Drinking Water Machines have been installed by the Club at five places in the city which serve around 300 - 500 persons with clean and cold drinking water every day.
3. Housing Blocks for Leprosy Patients
The Club had built two housing blocks in the Leprosy Patients Colony.
4. Shelter For Companions of Patients at District Civil Hospital
A large shelter has been built by the Club adjacent to emergency ward at District Civil Hospital to create facility for the persons accompanying the patients, for their comfortable stay. The facility of this shelter is used by around 600+ people every month.
