The Sacramento Lions Club built the Sacramento Lions Community Center in 1976 which provided a permanent meeting place for the Lions.  It also provides a permanent meeting place for the Boy Scouts Troop #48 which the club supports by paying their annual dues and providing extra support.  The building is used as a Senior Citizens' nutrition meal site, which meets twice weekly.  The building is also rented out for reunions, parties and for other community needs. This is the only building in the community for general public use.

Eye glasses are collected, recycled and then distributed in needy countries.

Eye exams and eye glasses are provided for those in the community that qualify for this FREE service.

The three Lions Clubs in McLean County work together to sponsor a McLean County High School student to participate in the Kentucky All State Band and to attend the International Convention when it is held in the United States.

The three Lions Clubs in McLean County join forces to sponsor the Lions International Peace Poster Contest. By only having one middle school in the county, working together enables us to present more and  larger awards.
