Rio Vista Lions Club has served its' community for more than 85 years. Sponsored by the Fairfield Host Lions Club, Rio Vista received an International Charter in January of 1938.
 
The Rio Vista Lions Club raises funds for contribution to various civic and charitable groups. It has supported youth groups and scholarships; these groups realize approximately 50% of the total funds donated. The balance of the contributions go to community organizations such as schools, police and fire departments, US Coast Guard, and other local organizations such as the Boy Scouts, Glasses for Students, RV CARE, the Bass Festival in Rio Vista, Meals on Wheels, and others.
 
Rio Vista is located in the Sacramento River Delta about 60 miles east of San Francisco. The annual Bass Festival is celebrated every year in the Fall.
