Since 1917, Lions have been reaching out to people in need in their local and world communities. As the demand for Lions' services continues, so does the demand for quality members to fulfil the association's "We Serve" motto. The Richmond County Lions Club was formed on March 29, 2004 with 20 men & women who wanted to serve their local community and help people in need.

We are now in our 6th year and although small in number we are proud of the success we have achieved in a variety of projects locally and internationally.

Through membership in a Lions club, people not only improve the lives of others, but have opportunities to develop personal friendships and gain valuable leadership skills. Men and women who are fun loving, community spirited and who would like to become a member are invited to e-mail Lion Donna at or click on the District 24-D website or visit our Facebook page for further information.

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
