Club Projects

Our main Club Project is helping kids with their eye sight.  We are currently doing eye exams at our local schools.  Children who need help can get eye glasses through Prunedale Host Lions.

Our other main project is helping the homeless veterans, by picking up food from a local grocery store and bringing it to the Veterans Transition Center for the veterans.  We do this on Monday and Thursday mornings.

Other projects are supporting LPCCI (Lions Project for Canine Companions for Independence), Guide Dogs for the Blind, The Hearing Foundation, Lions Building for the Blind, Lions Eye Foundation of California and Nevada, Lions In Sight (we send all our eyeglasses to Vallejo to get recaliberated and then they are sent out to the people who need them), A. J. Robinson Foundation (this is our hearing and eye mobile unit), Diabetes, Blind and Visually Impaired Center of Monterey County and the community of Prunedale.
