WHO ARE PORTISHEAD LIONS CLUB?
- Part of Lions Club International who have 1.3 million members in over 200 Countries
- Our area goes from Weston in Gordano over to Abbots Leigh
- Our motto is "WE SERVE"
- We have 20 members but would like more
- 100% of funds raised are spent with the majority going to local causes
- We also work with other groups
- Have close links to Youth Groups
- Work closely with Santa at Christmas
- We always have fun!

INTERESTED IN KNOWING MORE?
Being a member is open to adults who feel they would like to put something back in to the community.
Members will also be involved in team activities including fundraising, community and social and you will need to attend a monthly club meeting.
WANT TO HELP US BUT CAN’T OR DON’T WANT TO COMMIT… THEN WHY NOT BECOME A FRIEND?
‘Friends’ help members to serve the local community by assisting at fundraising events. Friends are an essential part of the club and are encouraged to come along to our social events but don’t attend club meetings.
