The Pleasant Hill Lions Club is a community service organization. Our efforts are devoted to providing charitable services to members of the Pleasant Hill community.  We support our  youth, schools, police department, recreation & park district and other non-profit and community groups.  

The community service projects in which we play an active role:

- Our Annual January Crab Feed - our primary fund raiser
- Center for the Visually Impaired in Pittsburg 
- Wilderness Camp
- Special Kids Day
- Student Speaker Contest Club level Contest (High School students)
- Winslow Scholarships  (High School Seniors)
- Peace Poster Contest Club level Contest (Middle School Students)
- Pleasant Hill Veteran's Day Celebration 
- PH Rec and Park District Egg-Citing Egg Hunt -  provide refreshments, operate the train, run the                     Egg Hunt 
- PH Rec and Park District Holiday Festival
- PH Community Service Day - provide pancake breakfast
- PH 4th of July Commission
- Rodgers Ranch
- Sight Savers Foundation - patient referral
- American Cancer Society Relay for Life 
- National Night Out - cook hamburgers and hot dogs

and these groups we provide support to:

- Canine Companions For Independence
- Irvin Deutscher YMCA
- White Pony Express
- Lions Hearing Foundation
- City of Hope

The Pleasant Hill Lions Club was chartered in October of 1952.  We have been serving our community ever since.  We meet twice a month.  The Lions Club is an international organization with 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.4 million members in over 200 countries around the world.
