 Wallace C. Glasscock Memorial Scholarships

Lion Wally Glasscock was a very active member of the Lions Club for 42 years while employed with the Woolworth Company in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.  He was very dependable and a real asset to his church, community and the Lions Club.  He was our song leader and served in most of the positions within the Lions.  Lion Wally passed away February 24, 2001, and is still truly missed by many.

The Petoskey Lions Club Wallace C. Glasscock Memorial Scholarship is given to a Petoskey High School student or students each year who not only show excellent academic achievement but who embrace the Lions motto of "We Serve" by being involved in community service.
