Christmas Party on December 08, 2018. We would like to thank Kim Emmett for preparing an excellent dinner. Also, Lois Christmann for coordinating the event at the clubhouse and our President, Russell Edmon for presiding over the event.



Russell Edmon, President of the Ottawa Lions club recently participated in both the Salvation Army bell ringing event [December 01, 2018], held at various locations in Ottawa, and Freezin for a Reason held at Handy Foods on December 07, 2018.



The Ottawa Lions Club was proud to recognize Veterans on November 08, 2018 with a dinner in their honor, spouses were invited. We also had a special program that included two episodes from the five episode series "A Golden Cross to Bear".



Russel Edmon presided over the event and presented certificates of appreciation to each of the Veterans for their service to our country.



Presenting "A Golden Cross to Bear" were Roger Amm and Kane Farabaugh. The episodes cover Roger's grandfathers involvement in WWI. The entire series will be aired again on tv in the next few months.



In conjunction with Play Poker Chicago, the Ottawa Lions Club held their inaugural poker event on Saturday, October 13, 2018. A portion of the proceeds from this joint event go to specific charities.



Lion Michael Johnson his sister and nieces and nephews at Handy Foods assisting with Candy Days. A two day event held the 5th and 6th of October at multiple locations throughout the city of Ottawa.



The Ottawa Lions Club thanks Brandie Redmond for inviting two guest to our dinner this past Tuesday [10.02.2018]. From left to right in the picture are; Kathy Akin, Brandie Redmond and, Eric Peacock.



Lion Mark Williams visited the Ottawa Lions from the District office on September 18 and provided new member orientation.



Lion John Honiotes visited the Ottawa Lions from the District office on September 18 and provided new member orientation.
