PRESIDENT'S WELCOME

Welcome to our 2023-2024 Lions year. And welcome fellow Lions, community leaders, and friends.

I am humbled to take on the role and become the President of the Oshawa Airport Lions Club. Our motto of “We Serve” is still there, unchanged and will always remain that way.

The needs in our community have not diminished, if anything, the have increased; and we members of the Oshawa Airport Lions Club will be there in our community living our motto of “We Serve” to the best of our ability.

We do various activities service activities throughout our Lions year, which runs from July 1st to June 30th of each year, to raise funds that go back out to the community to help with other projects. We have a couple of Signature yearly projects, of note: Breakfast with Santa, and a Gingerbread decorating event, which also has a visit from Santa.

We do do park clean-ups, collect food donations, assist in serving lunch to the needy at “Durham Outlook for the Needy”. Also donate to various shelters in our local area.

If any of this interests you, and you would like to look into becoming a member of our club, contact our membership committee.

 Yours in Lionism
Lion Micheline Lush
President
