Ocean Isle Sunset Beach Lions Club now has a 501 (c)(3) and has become Ocean Isle Sunset Beach Lions Foundation, Inc. and is able to solicit, collect and raise money to fund aims and goals which are exclusively charitableand may have tax advantages to donors.
This will allow the club to accept public and private donations,
bequests from wills, corporate donations, grants from
government and grants from other foundations.
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.3 million members in approximately 45,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
