Meetings

2013

The North Babylon Lions Club Has Adopted The Electronic Marquee at the Robert Moses middle school. We have recruited and financed a mason to complete all the work on the main structure. Pictures will be posted when available.

The N. B. Flag Project is a N.B. Lions Club initiative to honor our fallen heroes, veterans, and our country's independence with American flags along Old Deer Park Ave.  Likewise special events and community seasonal projects are highlighted by commemorative flags on the same route.

2014

The North Babylon Lions Club has worked to create and proudly supports the New North Babylon Food Pantry located at St. Paul's Reformed Church, Phelps Lane, North Babylon.  Together with many community organizations and volunteers we have made this dream a reality.  The pantry continually seeks donations of shelf stable foods, paper and cleaning products, pet food, and more to supplement the needs of community residents.

P S I Love You Day

The North Babylon Lions proudly supports this effort to raise awareness about those who struggle with depression or bullying. We look to celebrate every person's unique gifts and human dignity.  The N. B. Lions hang purple flags along Old Deer Park Ave the second week of February each year to commemorate this initiative.

2016

Our club actively supports the development of the new North Babylon Community Garden to be planted on the grounds of St. Paul's reformed Church to provide fresh vegetables and fruit to the clients of the NB Food Pantry.

The N. B. Lions Club is engaged in the development of the North Babylon History Project. Residents are encouraged to share photos and film of significant events or memories of the development of the Hamlet of North Babylon.  The project can be located on FaceBook.  At the 2016 Lions Club Community Street Fair on May 22, 2016 all are invited to view the unveiling of this impressive and meaningful exhibit of our collective memories and history.
