If you like to help other people and you like to have fun, meet with us at 6:30 PM at Mom & Pops Restaurant the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month (except on Holidays and December). Check our calendar for special meeting times, places or cancellations.
Although we have a lot of fun, above all we are members of the largest service club in the world with over 1.3 million members in 208 countries; note- we are a SERVICE Club. One the first questions asked if you tell us you want to join is, “How do you want to SERVE?”
For Example: SERVING at the Chesapeake Eyeglass Recycling Center
Ocean View Lions club Lion of the Year 2012-2013 Beverly Nolan SERVING by volunteering at the Recycling Center.
(Lion Bev is trying out a BIG pair of glasses ready for washing, measuring, bagging, and to be sent around to the world to a person needing eyeglasses.)
What Do the Ocean View Lions Do?
Our foremost mission is to help local people with sight and hearing problems. We help people who don’t have financial means to have their eyes examined or hearing checked, and we help people with getting eyeglasses and hearing aids.
