 Heights Park Project

This pavillion was one of the community donations from the Lions Club. It is situated in the community park and serves as a little shelter from the elements or just a comfortable place to have a picnic or take a rest. It was constructed by lions members donating their time and effort through volunteerism.

The Niagara Lions Club was formed and chartered in November 1966 with 25 charter members.

The Niagara Lions Club is an organization formed to help people in our local, district, state, national and international communities.  Lions members are from all walks in life including gender, nationality, religious and political affiliations.  All references to these and personality conflicts should and are to be left outside our doors.  All ideas and opinions of every member are important and will be considered equally.  Although the Niagara LIon's primarily responsibility is to the local community, the club will operate and support Lions International at all levels.

The Niagara Lions will meet twice a month.  The first Monday is considered a board of directors and business meeting.  Most business of the Niagara Lions is to be done at this meeting.  All Lions are encouraged to attend and participate in the business operation of the club.  The third Monday of the month will be a dinner meeting.   The location of the meeting will be determined by the members in attendance at the previous business meeting.   Meeting dates and time can be changed at business meetings to accomodate the members.

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
