The Newport Beach Hawaiian Lions Club was chartered on June 1, 1996 with Lion Lou Nockold being the First Club President. When the Club chartered we were named the Newport Beach Sea Lions. With so many members having a love for Hawaii and the Hawaiian Culture, it was renamed the Newport Beach Hawaiian Lions Club.
