WHO ARE THE MOWRYSTOWN LIONS?

The Mowrystown Lions Club is made up of service-minded men and women working together for a better community. We make a positive difference and help where we are needed; living up to the Lions motto "We Serve".

How do we help our community?

  • Collect and recycle old and used eyeglasses.
  • Collect and recycle pill bottles for Matthew 25 Ministries.
  • Hold annual fundraisers to raise money to put back into the community.
  • Donate food to the local food pantry.
  • Donate money to local charities and causes.
  • Provided scholarships to graduating seniors from Whiteoak High School.
  • Organize and partner with the community for the annual Diehl Park Clean Up.
  • Partner with local Lions to serve breakfast at Kamp Dovetail.
  • Sponsor and advise the Whiteoak High School Leo Club.
  • Donate raffle prizes for the Bright Elementary School Carnival.
  • Donate to the Ernie Blankenship Tele-A-Thon in suppport of the Highland County Society for Children and Adults.

  • And much more...
