Mount Pearl Lions Christmas Parade

This annual event is a glowing example of community spirit, volunteerism and corporate support.

It hosts approximately 60 floats and entries; numerous bands, cheerlearders, gymnastics, youth groups and organizations; dog groups and a collection of clowns and other characters.

The RNC and Rovers ensure a safe travel route and minimal traffic disruption.

It is a prime opportunity for the City to share in the spirit of Christmas.

Colemen`s and the Girl Guides collect food items along the parade route for the St Vincent De Paul Society and a security truck and Lions' sponsored children's groups (1st Mount Pearl Scouting Group and Mount Pearl Minor Hockey) collect coins, also for the St. Vincent De Paul Society, Mount Pearl.

Scotia Bank employees assist Garda in the coin collection; Mount Pearl Lions Club donates  annually and everyone is blessed!
