WELCOME TO THE CITY OF SHELTON WASHINGTON
The city of Shelton lies at the southwest end of Puget Sound. It has long been known as Christmas town with its connection to the logging and lumber industriues in the area. It is also well known for the excellent shellfish that comes from the waters in and around Shelton.
Shelton Morning Star Lions Club chartered in 1997 and has been involved with the celebrations that honor the industries in the area. The Shelton Morning Star Lions club has a history of meeting the various needs of members of its community, yet having fun while doing it.
Shelton Morning Star lions is one of 48 clubs in Multiple District 19C with a total district membership of 1400+ lions. Multiple District 19 is an international district consisting of club in British Columbia, Canada, Washington and Northern Idaho
The Morning Star lions are currently in the middle of a club rebuild. Community individuals with a will to Serve and work for the betterment of the Shelton community are needed.
