The Monroe Lions Club is in its 63rd year of service. Since our chartering on May 11, 1951, members have worked on a variety of projects in the local community, including broom sales, used eyeglass collection, newspaper collection and vision screenings. Proceeds from past fundraising events sponsor projects that include sending children to the Camp for the Blind, providing eyeglass exams and purchasing new glasses for disadvantaged citizens.
