Milledgeville Lions Club
Milledgeville Lions Club
Milledgeville Lions Club was chartered in 1975. Over the years our main project has been providing eye exams and glasses for those who are unable to pay for them along with supporting the Lions Camp for the Blind, the Georgia Lions Lighthouse and Leader Dog for the Blind.
Today we still provide the eye exams and glasses. Now we are also screening children with PlusOptix digital screening devices which can detect 6 different eye conditions and help prevent amblyopia. We have projects for the environment, hunger, diabetes, youth' childhood pediatrics, the veterans at the Georgia War Veterans Home and other community projects.
Come visit our club or volunteer with us and find out if Lions Clubs are for you.
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
