Last July, we celebrated the 50th anniversary

of our club

The Medford-North Patchogue Lions Club is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt Foundation.

It was chartered in 1966 by a group of local businesses men and residents who were interested in improving the community. Membership is open to men and women who care about the place where they work or live.

Joseph Muller was the first President. The club is part of Lions Clubs International which has more than 1,293,000 members in 220 countries. Lions have more member countries than the United Nations.

Every penny the Medford-North Patchogue Lions Club raises is donated to charity.

Community organizations like the Lions are vital to making our community a great place to live. Our slogan says it all:

We Serve”

We have provided Financial Aid to the Guide Dog Foundation that trains seeing eye dogs and blind students to use them.

We have provided televisions and Christmas caroling to the residents at the Foley Skilled Nursing Facility.

We have provided two scholarships annually to Seniors at the Patchogue-Medford High School.
