Helen Keller, challenged Lions Clubs to become "knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness" (1925).

The Mason Lions Club, established in 1944, is located in Mason, Michigan.  Formed to provide service to the community, today a group of like-minded men and women are dedicated to service, fun, and to carry out the ideals of the club.

Member benefits:

  • Network:  meet local professionals, business owners, farmers, service workers, trades people, administrators, managers, homemakers and others.

  • Volunteer: activities vary from year to year; members staffed a KidSight booth at the Ingham County Fair; collected and donated eyeglasses to Lions Club International; raised funds for local High School Senior Scholarships, provided funding and services to the Leader Dog School, WKAR radio and much more.

  • Leadership Trainings: club members and officers have opportunities to advance their leadership skills.

  • Fun and friendships: club members built camaraderie through a Holiday party, June picnic and special celebrations.

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
