WELCOME MESSAGE - CLUB PRESIDENT

Fellow Lions, it gives me a great pleasure and gratitude as I ascend to this top most office in our club, the Lions Club of Masaka.

This is no mean achievement, and I would like to thank all of you dear Lions for the great mentorship that I have received under your tutorship.

Being well aware of the five global cause areas. i.e

1. Diabates
2. Vision
3. Hunger
4. The environment
5. Childhood cancer

My team and I pledge to work under the guiding theme. “TOGETHER WE SERVE”.

Service dear Lions is our core mandate and is what brings us together in Lionism. Me and you alone may not achieve much. But when we come together as a team, we are able to serve the community and touch people’s lives.

To effectively collaborate as a team, members must be able to communicate with one another to achieve our desired goals. Therefore, the bond we have developed with one another as members of the club and that sense of connectedness should help us achieve the common objectives of the club as well as our personal objectives as members.

Our dear website visitors, Lions is a family. A group of members coming together and sacrifice the little they have to serve the less privileged. Ofunamu ng’omuntu  if you network well with the members.

In conclusion, corperation is crucial for the success of the club. Under our Lionistic year theme ‘TOGETHER WE SERVE’, dear members, let us build a successful team by encouraging a culture of communication, trust, respect for one another and togetherness because by being together we are able to serve. I wish everyone a great stay here and Journey mercies as we go back to our places of residence.
