The Marquette Lions Club is very excited to announce our 2017 Annual Pancake Breakfast Buffet event to benefit the Room at the Inn and Warming Center. The event will be held at the American Legion on Bluff St in Marquette on Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 from 9am to 1pm. We will be hosting a “Fill the Totes” promotion at the event where we will collect donations of much needed items such as socks and underwear for the Room at the Inn guests.

The Room at the Inn provides shelter service to our homeless during the winter months in Marquette through participating churches. The goal is provide an opportunity for guests to focus on life transitions without the worry of finding food and shelter.

The Warming Center provides a year round service for the shelter guests to go in the morning after the shelter closes @ 6am. At the Warming Center a hot meal is served along with shower facilities and various community services designed to help guests transition to independence. All community members are welcome to take advantage of Warming Center resources between the hours of 8am and noon.

Room at the Inn and the Warming Center are primarily staffed by volunteers and funded completely by donations from our community. If you are interested in buying tickets, donating or volunteering at the event or any of the pre-sales events, please contact Lion Melissa Cavill at (906) 236-3503 or, or any of the resources listed below, or stop by the Warming Center between the hours of 8am and noon any day.
