Lions Club of Mambalam was chartered in 1980. This club takes modest pride in completing projects worth more than Rs. 5.0 crores in the last 31 years. Projects cover areas of education, health, orphanages, Diabetic Retinopathy, old age homes, blood donation, environmental awareness, rural development, etc. This vibrant club has 23 members.

The great philanthropists in this club Ln. R. P. Krishnammachari and Ln. G. R. Krishnan have done many service oriented projects and are source of inspiration for the other members to do dedicated service activities.
