We are members of Lions Clubs International, the largest humanitarian service organization in the world. We assist the blind and deaf, so that they can become productive members of the community. We set up eye appointments, purchase eyeglasses and hearing aids for those who cannot afford them. We assist with many other worthy causes as well. We are involved in activities and projects within our community. What makes us proud of the work we do is that 100% of all funds raised by the Lions Club are returned to the communities.
One of the main objectives of the 4LLLL’s Lions club is to provide eyeglasses and eye surgeries to those who are financially unable to pay, We also meet the goals of organizations such as; Southeastern Guide Dogs, The Florida Lions Conklin Center for the Blind, The Lions Eye Institute for Transplant and Research, The Lions Diabetes Awareness Foundation of MD35, Inc. and Florida Dog Guides FTD.
