Mark Meigs successfully supervised the Louisburg Lions Club Recycling Challenge for his Eagle Scout Project collecting 1,060 pounds of plastic that would normally end up in landfills.  By successfully meeting the challenge of over 500 pounds within a 6-month period, the Lions Club will receive a high-composite bench made out of recyclable plastics, which will be donated to the Louisburg Senior Center.  Congratulations on Mark's success and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout!
