The Lewisburg, Tennessee Lions Club was chartered on June 23, 1937. The club celebrated it's seventy-fifth annniversary in 2012. The club history states that on that charter night hope was expressed that some day it might be said of Lewisburg that, "This is a better place in which to live, to work and to play, because there is a Lions Club here." The Lewisburg Lions Club continues to work toward that end.
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
