Level Green Lions Community Building

Located at 123 Murrysville Road in Level Green, the Community Building is the site for everything from community meetings to private parties. The building was built through commuity support and opened as a one-story meeting hall in late 1957.  A few years later, through community support, the second floor was added to the center. The first floor of the building can be rented by anyone by calling 412-804-1866.  Please leave a detailed message, and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Level Green Lions Students of the Month/Students of the Year

The Level Green Lions Club honors up to 12 students a year with a Student of the Month honor.  Students are from the Level Green area and are nominated by administrators and teachers for scholastic and extracurricular excellence.  Awardees and their parents are invited to join the Lions for a monthly dinner and meeting to tell the club more about their scholastic and extracurricular activities, and about their plans for after graduation.  Up to 3 of the honored students are selected by a committee to be Level Green Lions Club "Students of the Year," an honor usually accompanied by a scholarship. Level Green Lions Club White Cane Days

One of the primary missions of Lions International is the detection of vision problems, and their correction and cure.  Lions International efforts range from something a simple as the collection and distribution of used eyeglasses to people in need, to high level medical research into the causes and cures for blindness.

To support this worthy cause, the Level Green Lions conducts its "White Cane Days" where members of the LG Lions stand outside various local businesses in the Level Green / Trafford area, with a large white cane replica (4-5 ft. high. and 3" in diameter), and collect donations.

The White Cane Days are held in October of each year.  The proceeds are specially directed to the identification, correction, and cure for vision problems and vision related health issues. Look for your Lions at the Level Green CoGo's / Exxon Mini Mart on Route 130.
