Four graduating senior students completing trades programs at the Dr. James A. Forrest Career and Technology Center are each presented with a $1,000 award by the Leonardtown Lions Club in honor of Lion Raymond Stone. Leonardtown Lions Frank Nuhfer, George Guy, George Kirby and Don Fincham lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington National Cemetery. Lions and their families traveled to Arlington via a chartered bus. The wreath laying ceremony was part of the 75th Anniversary celebration.

The Leonardtown Lions Club in District 22-C (Region 6, Zone 2) publishes a monthly newsletter titled Lion Bait. It is distributed to the membership and to club officers of the district. This newsletter contains information about club activities, district, state and international news.
