The Lansing Lions Club was sponsored by the Hammond Lions Club in 1937 and has since sponsored eight other clubs; Calumet City (1939),Harvey (1946), South Holland (1946), Chicago East Side (1948), Homewood (1948), Chicago Hegewisch (1962), Lynwood (1974), Sauk Village (2004) and Flossmoor Roshni (The Light) (2009).
We are the Home Club of two Past District Governors, Lion William Last Sr. (1964-65) and Lion Ken Straka (Pictured Above) (1977-78).

Our Annual Candy Day Fundraiser was the 2nd Friday, October 7, 2016. We were on Ridge Road and Burham, and Wentworth, collecting money to help the blind and to continue giving to the needy in the local community.
