2012 Basket

Basket Raffle:

Our wonderful and overfilled basket will be raffled off during our plant sale on May 19th

Many community members and businesses have donated items and services to our basket so that we can bring you a fantastic basket!

Please support our club by purchasing tickets for this useful, fun and lovely basket.

-UPDATE-2010 Basket

The wonderful basket was raffled off and our winner is Roxie Long of Langlois!  Thanks to everyone who donated to the basket and to those who purchased tickets!  We were able to raise over $900 to help out locals with their hearing and seeing needs!  Yay Langlois!!!

 

Fishing Derby - 2011

We had perfect fishing weather for our annual Van Wormer Youth Fishing Derby at Floras Lake this year.  Thirty kids participated in the competition and together they caught over 70 fish.  Wonderful prizes were awarded to the top three kids in each of three age groups and to one Grand Prize winner.  All participants got a goodie bag, which led to many smiling faces

 

 

17TH ANNUAL CRAFT FAIR

November  18th- 19th, 2011.  so much fun with over 45 vendors- cosponsered with the Langlois Public Library. ( split table rentals) featured  a wonderful luncheon of the best Clam Chowder in the world + delicious chicken wraps.  Baked goods another highlight.  Proceeds benefit the work that we do in the community such as the sight and hearing program.
