Lake Holcombe Lions Club was established in 1972 and has 68 members at this time. All members of the Lake Holcombe Lions Club are volunteers, as are all Lions worldwide. In fact, Lions are dues paying members, whose membership must be approved by their local chapter. Lions members consider it an honor and a privilege to serve their local community through the outreach activities of the Lions, and view their service as an opportunity to give back to their community. The funds raised and distributed by the Lake Holcombe Lions Club are used to support many worthy initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Scholarships to Area Students
- Teacher Scholarships
- Food Pantry
- Staudacher Field Baseball Fields, Pavilion and Playground maintenance
- Support for youth sports teams
