King Island is situated in the middle of Bass Strait between the Australian States of Victoria & Tasmania.

King Island is well known for it's Cheese, Beef, Lobsters and Kelp.

Our Island population is around 1600 people.  

We were Chartered in April 1969,  our Club has 30 members and we are actively seeking more.

Dick Strickland is a member of the Australian Lions Foundation Hall of Fame, and has achieved 41 years of perfect attendance. 

Ken Richards, Dick Strickland, Ken Payne, Easton Johnstone, Bob Thompson, Linda Payne and Steven Bishop are Melvin Jones Fellows.

Jan Strickland, Rod McGarvie and John Winter are James D Richardson recipients.

Colin and Barbara Lancaster (Honorary) are Life Members of our club.
