Our club eye screening camp was held on the avobe mentioned date successfully. The informations regarding the camp activities are described as follows.
Medical team has screened the eye of totally 93 patients. Among them,3 patients have been identified with early cataract and they have been advised for cataract surgery after few months. 48 patients have been advised for cataract surgery and 39 patients have been brought to hospital for treatment. Among them,32 persons have been identified with refractive error. And 14 of them have been prescribed spectacles and 13 persons have ordered and got their spectacles in the camp site itself.
Out of 93 patients screened , 77 patients (83%) have been identified with various eye problems and they have been advised for appropriate medication.
