November 2, 2012 - A Reading Action Program to promote global literacy was held at a local after school program for kids 6 to 9 years old.

Lion Terri Kodgis spoke to children about helping others and the importance of eye sight.  They colored the Lion logo, connected the dots lion, and completed a Halloween craft to improve reading and writing skills.  Halloween snacks were served.

The next program will be held with a Thanksgiving theme.

A similar program was held in September at the local public library.
