HYDERBAD JEEDIMETLA LIONS CLUB


Hyderabad Jeedimetla  is a service club organization. With an active membership of 32 Lions, the club meets regularly twice in a month.

 Founded in 1982, we are best known for Aiding the  seniors & Retarded people  at Integrated Welfare Society , but we also volunteer for many different   kinds of community projects - including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry, Medical & Blood Donation camps and many other community services.

We give sight. By conducting vision screenings, distributing medicine and raising awareness of eye disease, We work toward their mission of providing vision for all. We have extended our commitment to sight conservation through countless local efforts.

We serve youth. Our community projects often support local children and schools through  recreation . We offer many programs, On Children's day like painting competition , Nation first,  Cultural activity etc.

We help during disasters. We are helping communities following natural disasters by providing for immediate needs such as food, water, clothing and medical supplies.

A new team of office bearers and directors for the ensuing lionistic year 2016-17  are installed on 2nd July  2016 by the chief guest and installation officer past district governor Lion Deepak bhattacharjee,  in a grand installation nite in the august presence of Vice District Governor I  Ln B.Venkateshwar rao & Vice District Governor II Ln  G.S.Prahalad  and large number of Lion members.

The Club has Celebrated its 35th Charter nite on 19th September 2016 at Annapurna Banquets.
