Pictured below “Charter Member” and “Melvin Jones Fellow” Lion Dalton Harris was instrumental in helping charter the Holly Pond Lions Club in March 1965. Lion Harris made an outstanding contribution to humanitarian endeavors. Lion Harris was proud to be a Lion. His life reflected the Lions motto “We Serve”. Lion Harris died on December 23, 2008 but his memory reminds us “that being a Lion means giving back to the community”.
