Lions assisting RAM Zone 7 & 8 Service Project

Thank you for making this service project a success.  We prepared 1250 box lunches as well as breakfast for all of the patients that attended the clinic (about 2200 meals).  Because of the amount of food we were able to purchase (due to the money that Lions Clubs, Food City, Publix, and individuals provided), we were also able to feed family members who came to be with patients, send box lunches to the homeless shelter, send food with families who had needs at home,  and provide a significant amount of food to the Union Gospel Mission.

We had 41 Lions from 5 clubs who participated in this event.  The total service hours provided for the clinic exceeded 100 with the planning, preparation, and distribution.
