Welcome to the Hixson Lions Club Website.

The Hixson Lions Club provides many services to the Hixson, TN community.  We invite everyone to come join the Hixson Lions Club, serve the community and have fun.

The Hixson Lions Club enjoying a busy 2023.  Lions Marlene Stasulas and Kelly Lyons have performed 10 free KidSight screenings at local day care centers, churches, etc. resulting in 267 children screened and identifying 23 children referred.  Another example of our motto "We Serve".

Hixson Lions Club participating in the  “Ball Til You Fall” Festival at the ball fields across the street from the Hixson Community Center Saturday.  We gave out lots of candy from our two haunted canopies and performed 48 KidSight screenings. This was a huge Festival with over a 100 vendors and free helicopter rides.

 

              

 

 

 

The Hixson Lions Club was invited to participate in the  Texas Roadhouse Trunk or Treat.  Lion John Stein’s extensive Halloween props were a huge hit and took first place.  We sold chances for a donated Fall Wreath with all the money going to the Hixson Youth Athletic Association.  This strengthens our relationship with Texas Roadhouse especially for our annual Car Show.

The Hixson Lions Club Community Car Show 2022 is in the books and was a huge success. The Hixson Lions Club volunteer at the HOPE (RAM) Clinic serving breakfast and lunch snacks to the patients. It is estimated that $250,000 in FREE Care provided for 500+ Patients during the two day event. The Remote Area Medical (RAM) team is a non-profit provider of free pop-up clinics providing free services such as eye exams, glaucoma tests, and even make prescription glasses and offer dental care onsite.

Our 2021 White Cane fund raiser was a huge success!!  The Car Show and Bowling provided an afternoon of family fun.  The Mountain vs the Valley challenge was won by the Lookout Mountain Lions Club.  I am sure the Lookout Valley Lions Club will be seeking revenge next year.  The 3 Blind Mice Bowling Team were crowned most fun.  Thank you to all our car show participants and bowling teams for your support.
